AuctionPickUps.com offers a non urgent, low-cost pick-up/delivery service from auction houses and other sellers in the Wellington region with deliveries to Whanganui, Palmerston North & towns along the way.

We collect from Auction Houses, Businesses and TradeMe sellers in the Wellington / Hutt Valley / Kapiti areas.  Collection is by appointment and occurs generally within 1-2 days of a request being made, sometimes the same day.

We deliver to Wellington, Whanganui, Marton, Feilding, Palmerston North and all towns south.  Wellington pick-ups & deliveries are frequently the same day.  For towns further north, delivery would usually be within a couple of weeks (sometimes sooner)  but could take up to 4 weeks maximum.  For these ‘out of town’ deliveries our rates are based on a non urgent but reliable delivery service whereby more than one client is being serviced on the same delivery run.

If you require a faster, bespoke delivery service, rates will be at least double the quoted rate below and still be competitive with most other freight companies.

Free Storage available pending delivery.  Rates from $120 (+ gst) per cbm (ie. per cubic metre). The minimum charge is as for one (1) cbm rising in quarter cbm increments after that.

To obtain a rough estimate of what your delivery would cost you can work out the volume in cbm by measuring the length x width x depth of your shipment and then dividing by 1,000,000.

For example if you are shipping a 4 drawer filing cabinet from Wellington to Whanganui the standard measurements are 131cm x 62cm x 47cm (total 381,734 cubic cm). So based on volume and minimum charge the collection and delivery cost would be $120 + GST.  At the same time, if you were shipping TWO cabinets then the total volume would be 763,468 cbm – so the cost would still be $120 + GST.  Three cabinets would come to 1,145,202 cbm so cost would be $150 + GST.

A dining table with 4 non removable legs measuring 150cm x 80cm x 73cm comes to 877,000 cubic cm and can also be collected & delivered for $120 + gst.  But a larger banqueting table measuring say 240cm x 90cm x 73cm would come to 1.57 cbm and cost $210 + GST.
